Privacy policy

When you search, the roles, locations, experience levels, industries and keywords you choose are sent to our server and used to query LinkedIn's public job listings and the MyCareersFuture jobs API. We don't save your searches.

If you add a resume, the file is read on our server for that one search and then discarded. Its text, together with your search filters and the job postings found, is sent to Google's Gemini embedding API to score how well each posting fits. We don't store the file or its text.

When you set up alerts with the PromptHire bot or log in with Telegram, we store:

• your Telegram user and chat ID, and the name, username and profile photo link Telegram shares when you log in
• your alert settings: roles, industries, locations, experience levels and job sources, and whether alerts are on
• the postings we have sent you (link, title, company, location and time), so you aren't sent the same job twice
• links created by the "Get new matches on Telegram" button, which hold your search filters for up to 24 hours

Telegram processes the messages the bot sends you under Telegram's privacy policy.

• Vercel hosts the website and API.
• MongoDB stores alert settings, sent-job history and accounts.
• Google scores postings against your search and resume.
• Telegram delivers alerts and handles log-in.
• LinkedIn and MyCareersFuture receive the search terms needed to find postings.

We don't sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Send /deletemydata to the bot, or choose "Delete my data" on your account page. This removes your alert settings, sent-job history and account straight away. Sending /pause only stops alerts and keeps your settings.
